Rich, creamy, and naturally sweet – no additives needed!
Ingredients:
2 cups raw organic cashews
Optional:
¼ tsp salt (for flavor)
1–2 tsp neutral oil (only if needed for creaminess)
1 tsp maple syrup or honey (for a hint of sweetness)
½ tsp cinnamon or vanilla extract (for a fun twist)
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325°F (optional, but enhances flavor). Spread cashews on a baking sheet and roast for 10–12 minutes, tossing halfway. Let cool slightly.
Add cashews to a high-speed food processor or blender.
Blend on high, scraping down the sides as needed. This will take 5–10 minutes, and the texture will go from crumbs → paste → creamy butter.
Add oil, sweetener, or spices if desired, and blend again until smooth and pourable.
Store in a clean jar. Keeps up to 2 weeks at room temp or longer refrigerated.
Don’t rush the blending! It takes time for the cashews’ natural oils to release.
Make it crunchy by blending half the cashews, then pulsing in the rest.
